I’m about to face the biggest challenge of my entire life. As in any business, I’m going to need a lot of self-motivation. But the cause is good and anyway, I’ve got Will Smith on my side (more of that in a moment).

I recently started a self-defence business working with an amazing guy who is creating Taekwondo champions like there is no tomorrow. Anyone who lives in the south and saw the BBC news last Friday evening would have seen him on there after a number of his students won gold medals at the national championships. (You will have also seen the huge sign for my web site in the background – I never miss a trick!)

Joe and myself have a dream – to get very basic Taekwondo taught in schools up and down the country be it as part of the curriculum or as an optional after school sport. Why? Because it will increase kid’s confidence, help them learn basic self-defence and discipline and much more.

Basic Taekwondo is not violent or physical. However it will teach children basic body movements to protect themselves. For example one of the fun games Joe has the kids do is to play a game of ‘it’, where two children stand in front of each other and they both have to try to touch the other on the shoulder whilst avoiding being touched on the shoulder themselves. Whilst the kids are having fun they are unconsciously learning how to avoid anyone who tries to grab them. A very basic and fun self-defence lesson

Joe has recently been contacted by local schools desperate for him to teach their school children this fun easy way to keep safe. It seems our dream of basic Taekwondo being taught in schools may well one day become a reality.

The thing is, going from where we are now to actually getting it in all schools is going to be a long journey. It will be full of highs and lows. It’s going to be full of times when it will be easier to give up then to continue. But I will not stop until Joe, myself and my business partner Simon have helped put the wheels in motion so that the generations to come will know basic protection moves to keep themselves safe. Is it a dream too far?

Self-motivation in business courtesy of the wisdom of Will Smith

Nothing is a dream too far if you want it bad enough and believe in it. I want to share with you my secret weapon that helps me every day. When I get up every morning I watch this short ten-minute video.

Every. Single. Day.

It is by the actor Will Smith who has achieved an incredible amount in his life.

Here are some quotes I picked out:

“Talent and skill are two separate things. Talent you have naturally. Skill you only develop by spending hours and hours and hours perfecting your craft”

“Lay one brick at a time. You don’t set out to build a wall. You lay one brick at a time, as perfectly as a brick can be laid. You do that every day and soon you have a wall”

“Your life will become better by making other peoples lives
better”

“There is a certain delusional quality that all successful people have. You have to believe that something different can happen”

“Being realistic is the most commonly travelled road to mediocrity”

“There is a redemptive power that making a choice has. Just decide what you’re going to be and how you’re going to do it!”

“I’m motivated by fear. I hate being scared to do something. I started to attack things that I was scared of”

“Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something. If people can’t do something themselves they want to tell you you can’t do it. If you want something go get it. Period”

The video is so inspirational and so true that it has become part of my daily mental workout. Ten short minutes a day watching this video keeps me focused.

Whatever you are trying to achieve in your life you need to watch this. Whether it is building a sound financial future through online business or anything else, this is an amazing video.

I have dreams of my film scripts being made, my businesses changing people’s lives (I’ve already done this), doing my bit to protect children for generations to come…and I will succeed in all of them. Want to know why? Because I will stop at nothing to do my bit for the world we live in and help as many people as I possibly can.

What’s your dream? No matter how big or small stop making excuses and start putting it into action.

Secret Deal Of The Decade Review

At the end of last year I put together a blueprint for my printed newsletter subscribers that showed you how to turn other peoples hard work and effort into an online business.

When it comes to changing your future everyone can talk a good game. Few actually put anything into place that actually does change their future. Instead they make excuses about why they can’t do something. It doesn’t work, I have no time, only the lucky start an online business.

Gimme a break.

I’ll be honest. I find excuse-merchants mind-numbingly boring and haven’t got any time for them.

For those who do take action, I have all the time in the world. And that is why I am so proud of Carol Mead, an internet-income detective subscriber who read my blueprint last year and created a monster of a web site that is cracking value.

Carol contacted some internet marketing experts and asked them to contribute some products to her web site. The result? Astonishing value that is well worth checking out.

On Carol’s web site you’ll see a number of well-known internet business experts (including myself) have contributed to her site in which you have everything you need to learn in order to start your own successful business. Videos, manuals, seminars. All sorts.

You can see the result below. Well done Carol! Not only has she taken action but she’s also built a web site that will help a lot of people make it big on the internet
http://www.secretdealofthedecade.com/ (please note this link is no longer working).

You’ll notice that I do exactly what I teach. For years I have told people to find experts in certain markets and get them to create the products, then you market them. Give them a cut and you’re in business. That’s what I have done with Joe in my self defence business and that’s what Carol Mead did with her brilliant new web site.

As I said you can make excuses or take action. It’s down to you what to choose.
